Coaches’ Grassroots Talent-Hunt Excites NTTF

Tennis Federation (NTTF) yesterday applauded the grassroots drive of three of its coaches in Kogi, Lagos and Ekiti State.
The recipients of the NTTF’s recognition are Friday Abah of Kogi State Association, Samson Ajayi of Lagos State Association and Bode Ajayi of Ekiti State Association.
According to the NTTF President, Wahid Enitan-Oshodi, in Lagos that the coaches had recorded encouraging results in discovering raw talents for the federation in their states. “The three head coaches are doing a good job in discovering talents at the grassroots.
“They are doing a fantastic job with the young players in their respective states by properly grooming them,” he said.
Enitan-Oshodi, a former Commissioner for Youth, Sports and Social Development in Lagos State, said the good work of the head coaches not only encouraged him, but also the federation.
