Coach Tips Falcons To Beat USA, Qualify

cons 0-2 defeat to the Matildas of Australia at the on-going 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in their second group match played last Friday in Winnipeg, Canada, the assistant Coach of the Rivers Angels football Club of Port Harcourt has said that the team still has chance to still has chance to make it to the next stage of the competition.
Coach whyte said this yesterday during an interview with Tidesports in Port Harcourt.
The Coach expressed confidence that the team would get to the quarter-finals of the competition, provided they put their acts together and play with determination to beat USA in their next match. He said that every match is different from the other and that though USA is tough and experienced, they are beatable.
“I see the Falcons beating their USA opponents 2-1 in their next match, which holds tomorrow because, the Falcons have potentials and commitment to do well”, he said.
He maintained that the girls are good and they know why and what they are there in Canada for, adding that, the team would definitely do the country proud.
Coach Whyte further urged the Falcons to ensure that they work on and cut out their mistakes and endeavour to put up a better performance in the match in order to achieve the victory they require.
The Falcons know that only an outright victory over USA that will guarantee progress, also, they would board the next flight home.
