Bipi Re-Assures Better Representation in Assembly
The lawmaker representing
Ogu/Bolo Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Evans Bapakaye Bipi has re-assured members of his constituency and the people of the state of effective representation in the eight Assembly.
Hon. Bipi gave the assurance when the executives and members of a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), under the auspices of Positive Change of Port Harcourt paid him a solidarity visit at his Port Harcourt residence, to felicitate with him on his victory at the recent polls and subsequent inauguration as the Chief Whip of the 8th Assembly.
The lawmaker promised to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of the state and members of his constituency.
He reiterated that for the people of Ogu/Bolo Constituency to give him their mandate again, he would ensure that he uses his wealth of experience to bear on legislations that will develop his constituency and the state.
Hon. Bipi congratulated the State Governor, Chief Nyesom Ezebunwo Wike and his Deputy, Dr. (Mrs) Ipalibo Harry Banigo on their resounding victory at the polls and subsequent swearing-in, despite the moves by political enemies to scuttle the exercise.
Earlier, the leader of the group, Mr. Oribi Kienabere said the solidarity visit was to felicitate with the lawmaker on his election victory while pledging their unalloyed support to him, saying that they are proud of his antecedents in the seventh Assembly.
Kienaberee reiterated that Bipi’s magnanimity, philanthropic gestures and leadership qualities have endeared his teeming supporters who regard him as a distinct and extra-ordinary politician.
