Wolves Confident Of Reaching Group Stage
Warri Wolves have
expressed confidence they will qualify for the group phase of the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup at the expense of AC Leopards of Congo.
This week, the Nigerian club were drawn against 2012 winners of the Confederation Cup in the playoffs.
The first leg comes up in Congo in the weekend of 15, 16 and 17th of May, while the second leg comes up at the Warri City Stadium on the June 7. Wolves managing director Davidson Owumi said his team will qualify for the group phase of the competition.
“We are cock sure of qualifying for the group stage and that has been our dream,” he declared.
“Our God who has been helping us will not disappoint us and with the Governor (Emmanuel Uduaghan) behind us like he has been doing, we will scale through.
