PDP Sets Up Post-Election Assessment Committee ‘Morrow

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) has constituted a post-election assessment committee to review and evaluate the performance of the PDP in the just-concluded 2015 general elections, and make recommendations for the repositioning of the party.

The 15-member committee is to be inaugurated tomorrow at the PDP National Secretariat, Abuja.

According to a statement by the National Publicity Secretary of PDP, Olisa Metuh, the membership of the committee includes the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu as chairman, Governors Godswill Akpabio, T.A. Orji, and Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo as members.

Others are the Rivers State governor-elect, Nyeson Wikeý, the Minister of Education, Ibrahim Shekarau, former governor of Niger State, Abdulkadir Kure, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha, Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Abba Moro, former minister of police affairs, Adamu Waziri, former governor of Kaduna State, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, Chief Makanjuola Ogundipe, Chief Pegba Otemolu, Mrs. Funmi Ayoola, and Senator Walid Jibril, who will serve as member/secretary.
