Nollywood,
Nigeria’s movie industry is in a mourning mood following the death of one of the veteran actors, Peter Bruno who died on Saturday at Asaba.
The A-list actor who hails from Ogwashi Uku in Delta State passed on several months after he survived a stroke. It will be recalled that in 2013 Brunor had lamented that he had been neglected by his colleagues in the movie industry.
Among the popular movies the late Brunor featured in before his demise are ‘Cockcrow at Dawn” which showed in the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) in the late 70s and 80s. “Memorial Hospital”, ‘Checkmate”, Sound of Destiny’ ‘Second Chance’, “Third Eye’ and Living in Bondage among several others.
The Entertainment industry will surely miss him as his death has left a vacuum in the industry. We sympathise with the family of the great actor at this time of the grief.
