Patoranking Emerges African Artiste Of The Year

tiste cum Dance hall Crooner Patoranking has won the award as best African act at the Voda Fone Ghana Mmusic Awards (VGMA). The Reggae sensation took home the African Artiste of the year award at the VGMA 2015 held in Ghana April 11, 2015.
He bent other artistes that competed with him namely: Tiwa Savage, Don Jazzy/Marvins, Yemi Alade, Diamond Platnumz of Tanzania and South African’s AKA.
Other winners include Sakordie who went home with the high life artiste of the year award, life/hip pop artiste of the year and collaboration of the year for the song ‘Adoni’ featuring Castro.
Best female vocal performance was won by Tinambanyi for “Wiyaala” while Best new artiste went to Mz Vee.
