Ichida Agog As Muoghalu Cup Kicks Off

The town of Ichida in
Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State will be agog this Easter season precisely from April 4, 2015 as the 4th edition of Ozala Muoghalu Super Football Cup competiton gets underway at Ezeokpu Mini Sports Stadium Ichida.
The high profile grassroots football competition which has been an annual event is solely sponsored by High Chief, Mike Ezedimora.
Speaking with newsmen ahead of the game, the sponsor/Cup donor, Chief revealed that apart from his passion fro grassroots football, he is also trying to use the platform to discover and harness the skills of some talents who would in turn represent the Local Government Area at major Sporting events in Anambra State.
Consequently, the tournament which has been drawn to the competed among teams from four branches of the town union namely, Young Stars FC of Lagos, City Warriors FC of Warri United Friends FC of Bayelsa and Solid Foundation FC of Enugu has promised not only to be exciting, but also explosive given the array of young talented players that would be on parade.
Prominent personalities and companies that are expected to grace the opening match include; Chief (Dr) Emma Bishop Okonkwo (Ikenga of Ichi) among others.
