Gunmen Kill 1, Injure 3 Others In Abua

over the weekend killed one youngman and injured three others at Anyu in Abua/Odual Local Government Areas of Rivers State.
The name of the deceased was identified as Adams Idema while the injured victims were identified as Kalemugh Idema and Ipedio Sokari Lambert among others.
A source who spoke to The Tide said the assailants hit the deceased with a stick on his head during the attack adding that the hoodlums also attacked those they perceived  as their enemies with matchets and guns, destroyed their properties within the community.
According to the source, the hoodlums numbered seventeen operated for several hours shooting sporadically which made people scamper for their safety.
The Tide learnt that the victims later died at the Federal Medical Centre, Yenegoa, Bayelsa State where was rushed to.
One of the injured victims said he was preparing to return to Port Harcourt after participating in the Saturday’s Governorship and House of Assembly elections when the youths attacked him and Smashed his car.
The police state command was yet to confirm the incident as at the time of filing this report despite several calls put across the phone line of the PPRO.
