The National President,
Airport Car Hire Association of Nigeria (ACHAN), Chief Stanley Dike, has cautioned members of the association to operate in accordance with the ethical conduct and in line with the constitution of the body.
Chief Dike, who stated this Tuesday, while inaugurating the new executives of the Port Harcourt International Airport (PHIA) branch of ACHAN, urged them to avoid bitterness, rancor and acrimony.
He commended members on the peaceful conduct of the election and called for cooperation among the leaders that will ultimately transcend to the members, adding that the national body of the association was determined to streamline their operations in the 25 airports in the country.
The chairman of the Election Organising Committee, Mr Tony Wilson said the positions were zoned according to the zonal platforms recognized by the constitution, stressing that the process was transparent, free, fair and credible as the outcome of the election was accepted by all.
In his remark, one of the patrons of ACHAN, Chief Festus Onukwufor, lauded the national president and the members for their peaceful conduct before, during and after the elections, adding that their presence has added value to the event and charged the new executive to work as a team.
