Reactions have started to
trail the walk over against  Dolphins FC of Port Harcourt by Club African of Tunisia, in Tunis , on Saturday.
Dolphins, one  of Nigeria’s flag bearers at the on going CAF Confederation Cup was walked  over due to late arrival  to the stadium.
In his reaction,  the media officer of Dolphins China Acheru said, the team actually  arrived late in Tunisia, but in good time to play the game if not for the antics and shenanigans of the home team and their federation.
According to him, it was obvious that the walk over was not only calculated to undermine the efforts of Dolphins FC and Nigeria by extension but done in bad faith by the match officials in collusion with both the host club  and the Tunisia  Federation.
“On our annual at  1 pm it took the chancery up to two hours before our   visas were processed and passports issued to the delegation, as the visa were issued at the point of entry” Acheru said.
Sports writer and presenter with NigeriaInfo, Ufoma Egbamuno said the walk over was due to  poor  preparation  and management, saying that if there was good  management the team  was supposed to arrive Tunis on Thursday.
According to him, their opponent capitalized on their mistakes, adding  that it was a funny situation.
“I think this is caused by poor preparation and gross mismanagement, besides, the issue of estacode  also contributed to the late take-off.
“The  same thing happened to Heartland FC of Owerri in 2009. Nigerian teams should always  prepare early” Egbamuno said.
In contradiction, James Onoja, a sports analyst  and writer, said the management of Dolphins should be dissolve, saying that what happened to the club was a clear demonstration that the management is incompetent .
According to him, “this is a disgrace to the entire people of Nigeria”.
“I attribute the walk over to purely logistics problems. The management should be dissolved, because such  embarrassment is not acceptable anywhere in the world.
“Players are supposed to reach Tunisia at least two days earlier to climatise themselves with the environment” Onoja said.
