Council Procures N3.5m Drugs For Rural Healthcare
The Birnin Kebbi 
    Local Government Council in Kebbi State has procured N3.5 million drugs for distribution to rural healthcare centres in the area. 
 The Chairman of the council,Alhaji Musa Danillela, disclosed this in an interview with the newsmen in Birnin Kebbi on Tuesday. 
He said the drugs included anti-malaria tablets, analgesics and other essential drugs for other minor ailments. 
He said the drugs would be distributed equitably to six rural health centres located in Tarasa, Gulumbe, Ambursa, Kola, Birnin Kebbi and Zauro wards. 
He said his administration employed 72 additional healthcare workers in rural areas to ensure effective healthcare delivery.     
Danillella said three new rural health centres located in Goru, Ambursa and Gwabbare districts would be provided with the drugs.
“The council will intensify efforts to improve healthcare delivery service especially prevention of diseases,” among the people of Birnin Kebbi local government area for the good health of the people”.
