Council Boss Donates Four Security Vans To Police

Chairman (CTC) of Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State, Mr Derick Mene has donated four security patrol vehicles to Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Bori Divisional Police Headquarters.
Mr Derick handed over the four patrol vans during the swearing-in of members of the care-taker committee of the council, in Bori the headquarters of Khana Local Government Area of the state, Wednesday.
The Council boss stated that the gesture was aimed at boosting the security in the area as well as foster relationship with the security operatives in the area.
He opined that his administration would attach importance to security and address its challenges in the area and added that the police and other security operatives would be given the needed support to operate effectively in the area.
The CTC boss used the opportunity to call on the people of the area to remain peaceful and cooperate with security operatives in the area adding that no meaningful achievement can be attained if crisis continues to be the order of the day.
He assured the people of his administration’s commitment to bring the dividends of democracy  within the short period in office. Those sworn-in include, Mr Godwin Williams as Chief of Staff to the Council among others.
