Armed Robbery Attack: RSNC Commiserates With Bereaved Family

paper Corporation (RSNC), Port Harcourt, has promised to support the families of late Engr Appollos Dafierechi Dikibo who lost his life to armed robbery attack last Friday.
The General Manager of RSNC, Mr Celestine Ogolo, made the pledge on behalf of the corporation when he led other management staff to a condolence visit to the bereaved family at their residence, Bende Street, Port Harcourt, last Monday.
Late Engr Appollos Dafierechi Dikibo, an indigene of Okrika Local Government Area of the state, aged 58 years, was among the over 10 victims that lost their lives to a dreaded armed robbery operation that threw the state into mourning last Friday.
Before his untimely death, late Engr Dikibo was the Chief Executive Officer to a catering firm that operates the corporation’s staff canteen.
Speaking at the condolence visit, Mr. Ogolo stated that staff of the corporation received the news of his death with great shock and sadness and added that the late Engr. Dikibo was known to the society as a peace-loving and quiet gentleman.
The general manager told the family members that they were at their residence to sympathise with them and to reassure them of the corporation’s resolve to support them during the burial especially in the area of publicity and added that the corporation considered them as part of its big family.
He urged the family to take solace in the hands of God especially at this trying moment, adding that no mortal can question God why he allowed the incident to occur.
“We are here to commensurate with you, we understand what you are really feeling, but we lack words, for God said we should rely on him on what ever happened, so we can not reverse the hands of the clock backward. So continue to have faith in God,” he stated. The general manager urged them to uphold the legacies of the family bequeathed to them by their late father.
Responding, the widow of the Late Engr Dikibo, Mrs Sarah Dikibo, thanked the management of RSNC for the visit, adding that it has given them more hope.
