The running-mate to the
governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Hon.  Honourable Asita, has promised that small scales and pretty trading businesses in the state would be funded to reduce unemployment if Hon. Dakuku Peterside is elected governor of the state next month.
Hon. Asita also accused the Federal Government of running down the economy of the country due to high rate of corruption and impunity in the country.
The APC governorship running-mate, who made the promise on Wednesday during a door-to-door campaign at various markets in Emohua and Obio/Akpor local government areas of Rivers State, predicted more hardships for the citizenry, if PDP government remains at the centre in the country.
Hon Asita also assured that the next APC government in the state would ensure the completion of projects of the present administration so as to accomplish the good vision of Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi in the state
He further said that all access roads linking Obio/Akpor International Market to the communities around the areas would be constructed within the first year of Peterside government in office.
The APC deputy governorship candidate urged the traders in Rumu Ndele, Choba, Rumuosi, Rumukpoku and Rumuodomaya markets in Emohua and Obio/Akpor local government areas to vote for APC at all levels for the revival of Nigerian economy.
He advised women to caution their children against being used by politicians to rig the forthcoming elections, alleging that PDP-led federal government was busy spending millions of dollars to rig elections.
