Your Vote Is Your Weapon – Mrs Buhari

As the clock to
Nigeria’s presidential election ticks faster, the wife of the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Mrs. Aishatu Buhari has asked Nigerian women to see their votes as a weapon at their disposal with which to chase the Peoples Democratic Party  (PDP) out of government which must not be sold for any reason.
Speaking through the Coordinator of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Women  Presidential Campaign  Initiative, Hajia Salamatu Jibril, at a sensitisation workshop in Abuja early in the week, Mrs Buhari enjoined  women not to only cast their  votes but also guard  their votes jealously until results are announced.
Stressing that the importance of Nigerian women’s active participation in the forthcoming general  elections, she urged  them all to obtain their permanent voter cards  as well as enjoin  others around them to also get theirs to enable them vote for APC  during the elections.
Meanwhile, Mrs Buhari has enjoined APC  leaders to sensitise women on the need to recognise the party’s symbol as well as thumb print their ballot papers correctly to prevent void votes.
