NBSA Gets Zonal Dev Offices

The Nigerian Baseball
and Softball Association (NBSA) have approved zonal technical development offices, to enable the sports become popular and active in every state.
Chief Coach of the association, Jacob Dennis-Albert made this known in an interview with Tidesports yesterday, in Port Harcourt.
According to him, the zonal development centres is to promote the game in the zones and ensure that three baseball and softball teams are formed in each state capital.
“We have tasked the zonal development centres to produce three baseball and softball teams;
“Besides, we have also mandated the primary and secondary’s schools co-ordinators to register ten primary and secondary school in each state to make the game popular”, Dennis-Albert said.
The Coach explained that the centres would be inaugurated soon, saying that all zonal coaches would be exposed to international training courses and competitions.
“MBSA will soon inaugurate the Zonal officers, this will be also be followed by full exposition of all technical to international training and competitions”, he stated.
