NBCC Seeks Collaboration For More Investments

Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) is seeking for collaborative efforts with the United Kingdom Trade and Investment Partners towards attracting more British investment into Nigeria.
The President of NBCC, Prince Adeyemi Adefulu stated this in Lagos Friday during a luncheon organized in honour of the outgoing United Kingdom Trade and Investment Director, Mr. Mike Purves.
Adefulu said the Chamber would partner with the British companies to attract more investment into Nigeria, stressing that a lot had been contributed to the advancement of the trade relationship between Nigeria and Britain by the Chamber.
He said the outgoing Director of the UKTI had worked with the Chamber in promoting business opportunities in the country by encouraging British Companies to look beyond the challenges in Nigeria and invest.
The NBCC boss expressed optimism that the Chamber and the UKTI will improve their business relationship this year for more conducive business investment.
Also speaking at the event, the outgoing Director UKTI, Mr. Mike Purves said Nigeria remains one of the best destinations for business with its position as the biggest economy in Africa, stressing that Nigeria has abundant human resources to attract investment into the country.
Purves said bilateral trade between the Chamber and the UKTI have succeeded within the past four years which has led to more positive image for the country.
He said UKTI would continue to partner with the Chamber in the years ahead.
