Draws for the 2015 Glo Premier League season will be conducted today in Abuja by the League Management Company, LMC.
According to the operating officer of the LMC, Salihu Abubakar, while fielding questions from newsmen, the draw is one of the activities that would herald the new season.
He further declared that Friday this week remains the deadline for submission of registration materials by clubs for the season.
“We want to remind clubs that February 20 remains the deadline for the submission of registration materials.
“Also we want to inform that mid-week matches will be part of the season in order to accommodate the socio-political developments in the country, and clubs have to be prepared”, said Salihu.
Meanwhile, the LMC has also made it clear that the submission of financial performance Guaranty (FP9) by clubs would end by March 5, 2015.
It would be recalled that the LMC had earlier informed the respective managements of all Nigeria Premier League Clubs to submit to it documents, including Proof of No Debts carried over, financial Guarantee and medical passport of players, which are part of registration process.
Salihu said that any club that fails to submit its FP9 after the deadline will be sanctioned appropriately.
