Group Hails Security Arrangement In Etche
A non-political group,
the Etche Transformation Change has lauded the security operatives in the local government area of the state for stepping efforts to check the excesses of insecurity in the area.
The Chancellor of the group, Mr Samuel Uwaubi Amadi, stated this while speaking to journalists when led other members of the group to tour round some communities affected in the area by the activities of cult groups over the weekend.
Communities visited by the chancellor include, Umuokam Obibi, Achara, Agbalu Afam-obuor among others.
Mr Uwaubi-Amadi thanked the security operatives in the area for bringing back hope for the people of Okehi Clan, adding that the activities of the cult groups in the area have affected both economic, social and political activities in the areas.
He assured that the group would partner with relevant stakeholders in the area to ensure that permanent peace and total security return in the area, noting that no development can be sustain in an atmosphere devoid of peace and unity.
The Chancellor of ETC used the opportunity to call on the youths from Etche ethnic nationality to give peace a chance rather than been agents of destruction, adding that as future leaders they owe the responsibilities of protecting and guarding their future.
