AY Cries Out Over Pirated Copies Of “30 Days In Atlanta”

larly known as AY is said to be currently having a rough time over his new multiple award winning cinema movie “30 days in Atlanta” ever since millions of pirated copies flooded the market across the country.
While the movie is still running in the cinemas and grossing several millions as the biggest Nollywood movie to make such mark with anticipation of being released on DVDs by middle of thy year, some unknown individuals have got hold of the movie and released it on CDs and it is currently selling fast for N500.00 in traffic.
With the kind of hype the movie made, it is not surprising the vicious manner people are purchasing this pirated copies which are surprisingly of a very good quality unlike most pirated movies that are either unclear or not completed.
The embittered comedian turned movie producer has cried out saying that Alaba Pirates have put him in big financial trouble since major marketing outlets offering to pay him millions to market the movie have all stopped contacting him.
It will be recalled “30 Days in Atlanta emerged Nollywood’s highest grossing movie of all time and has been honoured as the film of the year by the creative industry awards.
Seven weeks after its premiere on October 31st 2014, the movie grossed 76 million naira and by January 7, 2015, the award winning movie had grossed a box office smashing 127 million naira and counting.
“30 Days in Atlanta” is a romantic-comedy movie starring A-list Hollywood star, Vivica Fox and Nollywood’s RMD, AY, Ramsey Noah, Mercy Johnson, among others.
