An emerging goalkeeper,
Uzoma Ogaba has declared his preparedness to work his way to the top of his chosen career and make himself one of the most sought-after goalkeepers in Nigeria.
Currently unattached, the big-framed goalkeeper, who first honed his goalkeeping talent in Lokoja, Kogi state with Leopards FC said that he was looking out for an opportunity to join a national league clubside, thrust himself in the linelight and show what he can do.
According to him, after being tipped for greatness by the coach that discovered him in his early days, he had to veer-off into business only to realise that football, especially goalkeeping  is his calling.
Ogaba, who is in his mid-twenties currently trains at the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt and have been holding spectators spill bound with his reflexes and boldness.
“I know that I am talented, that is why I returned to football. I am ready to give my all to ensure that I realize my dream of becoming a top keeper plying my trade with one of the top clubsides in Nigeria,” he said.
He described keepers like former Green Eagles Safe hands, Emmanuel Okala, Peter shilton of England and Autoin Bell of Cammeroon as his role models.
The goalkeeper believes that Nigeria is endowed with lots of goalkeeping talents but there is a dearth of coaches at the grassroots to discover and wean them early enough.
