Dolphins Register Players For Confederation Cup …Recruit For New Season

Harcourt has submitted a list of 22 players to the confederation of Africa Football (CAF) ahead of the CAF Champion League.
The team would start their campaign on the continent on the 14th of next month in Malabo against Leonas vegetarianos FC.
This was contained in a statement signed by the club’s media Officer, China Acheru, which was made available to Tidesports, yesterday.
According to the statement, Dolphins Captain, Sunday Rotimi, Togolese born defender,Joseph Yaovi and attacker, Ifeanyi Egwim are some of the players registered for the CAF tournament.
“We have 16 players from the team of last season who will be joined by five newly acquired players to do battle in the tournament”, the statement said.
Acheru explained that Rotimi is the only goalkeeper returning from the squad of last season while defenders who are returning to team include Chidiebere Okolie, Joseph Dauhadi, Ayobami Asekunowo, Tobins Zikalla, Jonathan Zikiye and Victor Ezuruike.
Also, the returning midfielders are, Tijani Adamu, Tasiu Lawat, Hope Fiberesima, Victor Alegbe, Emeka Atuloma and Isiaka Olawale.
Attackers are, Chigozie Ihunda, Omo Johnson and Ifeanyi Egwim.
The media officer said the names of the newly registered players would be made public before this weekend.
