Queen Of UK Nollywood Crowned In PH

The installation of
the United Kingdom (UK) Nollywood Queen, Theodora Ibekwe Oyebade was held on Sunday, November 30th 2014 at the Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt.
In a press statement, the founder of the prestigious awards, HRH, Eze (Dr), H.U. Chuma, disclosed that the Nollywood Igbo Forum (NIF) is poised on celebrating great individuals who have contributed immensely to the development of the Nigerian movie industry.
He stated that, “after a prolonged search for the right person to the exalted throne of Ezenwanyi Ndigbo of UK Nollywood, we found Theodora Ibekwe Oyebade worthy of the honour.” He noted that this is in consideration of her great contributions to the evolution of Nollywood in UK and Nigeria.
Eze Dr Chuma stressed that Theodora Ibekwe, is a founding member of UK Nollywood producers guild, she is well known in the African community and has won several laurels promoting black ethnic films.
Other awardees include: Eze Owaza, actress Rita Edochie, Prof Jasper Jumbo, Engr George Ofora, Evang. Paul Nwokecha, Chief Monday Heart, Hon Glory Dike, Lady Vera Chris and Mrs Munachi Okoye.
The chairman of Nollywood Igbo Forum (NIF), Chief Ifeanyi Igwe, in collaboration with South-South and South-East film makers consortium played host to the grand occasion.
