PH Cricket League Postpones Matches
Two games at on-go
ing 2014/2015 Edition of the Port Harcourt Cricket League have been postponed till January, next year.
One of the organizers of the League, Coach Tonye Timinadi who disclosed this yesterday said the shift in date was due to the festive season.
According to him “All match fixtures for this month are suspended to next year, to enable those of us who would want to travel home for one celebration or the other.”
Meanwhile, defending champions Panthers C.C. thrashed whales cricket club by 122 runs at the weekend, while, Tamuno John, also of Panthers C.C. was voted man of the match, played at the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT).
