Kwara Utd Back To Premier League
Kwara United have won
promotion back to the Nigeria Premier League after the Nigeria National League (NNL) awarded them three goals and three points for their replayed game against Ranchers Bees which ended abruptly in Abuja.
Ranchers needed just a draw to pip Kwara to the other promotion ticket in the NNL Division A after Wikki Tourists of Bauchi won that group.
However, the decision of the NNL board is subject to ratification by the organising and disciplinary committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
The game, which was abandoned the first time in Kaduna with the game at 2-2 with 28 minutes to play, was ordered to be concluded but the referee was beaten by some fans after he awarded a penalty to Kwara United with eight minutes to go.
