Group Hails APC Governorship Flag Bearer

ers State, the Rivers Upland Patriotic Assembly (RUPA) has described the emergence of the lawmaker representing Adoni/Opobo/Nkoro federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Dakuku Adol Peterside as the State Governorship flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a bold and courageous step towards galvanising the people of the state into attaining greater heights.
The National Publicity Secretary of RUPA, Hon Richard S.O. Masi, who stated this in an interview with newsmen in Port Harcourt yesterday said that the APC’s successful primaries in Rivers State which affirmed Petersides candidacy clearly demonstrates the party’s unflinching commitment to robust democratic ideals that would ensure the continued smooth delivery of democracy dividends to the grassroots for which the present administration in the state is reputed.
Describing the APC Flag bearer as an amiable personality that radiates an aura that shines like a neon light, Masi stated that he (Peterside) possesses capacious intellect and deft navigational capability critical to consolidating on the gains of Governor Chibuike Amaechi’s  monumental  strides in the Socio-economic sectors in the state.
The RUPA Spokesman noted that the APC flag bearer’s mien and antecedents place him in a better stead than everyone else vying for the governorship seat in Rivers State.
He assured that if elected,Peterside would engender progressive policies and programmes that would provide a new lease of life for Rivers people and a pride of place among the comity of states in Nigeria.
