Enyimba FC Seeks New Kits Deal
Enyimba are in talks with
several top kit companies ahead of the 2014/2015 season as a deal with their current kit sponsors runs out soon.
The six-time Nigeria league champions and CAF Champions League winners back-to-back in 2003 and 2004 have a kitting deal with Joma, which will end later this month. The club’s head of media Farriel Allaputa revealed on Twitter that a deal will be announced soon.
“Enyimba are in talks with adidas, Puma and Umbro as contract with Joma expires this December. A major announcement will be made soon,” the Enyimba spokesman tweeted.
Last season, Enyimba finished runners-up in the league and won the Federation Cup. They will represent the country in next year’s CAF Champions League along with champions Kano Pillars.
