Ekiti Plans Big For Sports Festival Next Year

The Ekiti State Sports Council is to give priority to the National Sports Festival next year.
Its General Manager, Mr Kayode Adewumi, gave the promise in an interview with newsmen in Ado-Ekiti on Friday.
He said that all coaches in the council had been directed to select talented youths to represent the state at the competition.
Adewumi said the competition, which had been slated to hold in April, 2015, would be competitive and the state athletes were ready to face the challenges.
The sports council boss said that all the required equipment needed to train the athletes would be purchased to enable the state contingent excel in the competition.
Adewumi advised all the athletes that would represent the state not to relent in training well towards the forthcoming competition in Calabar next year.
