Cucumber Juice Joins List Of Songhai Rivers Products
In efforts geared towards
consolidating on its man- date of meeting the needs of indigenes of Rivers State, the Songhai Rivers Initiative (SRI) have come up with a new product.
According to a statement obtained by our correspondent from the sales department of SRI farm, the new product comes in the form of juice called cucumber juice.
The agency’s Information Officer, Mr Gabriel Machi, when contacted confirmed the emergence of the new product describing it as one of the most viable money spinners at the Songhai Rivers.
Our correspondent gathered that the demand for this product has maintained a steady rise leading the centre to a threshold of discovering one of its internal blue-chip ventures.
However, with the latest innovation, the processing unit of the centre has reportedly introduced canned cucumber that have longer shelf life as compared to the bottled product.
According to sales reports, mixed with pineapple concentrate, Songhai Rivers cucumber juice has a refreshing taste that resonates an exciting sensation, spuring its consumers to ask for more.
Cucumber has an endocarp rich in macro elements and vitamins such as magnesium which is important for digestion and Vitamin A which is needed for bright sight.
The reports further stated that consumers have the opportunity to enjoy more vitality in form of Vitamin C and fibre which come with the pineapple concentrate added to the juicy cucumber.
Already, the centre is selling the juice at the sales point unit.
It further advised Rivers indigenes to patronise the product to enable them enjoy the nutritious juice their loved ones and friends alike.
