The Bishop of St. Paul’s
United Spiritual Church of Christ Aba, Most Rev. Prof. Mike O. Onuoha has called on Christians to honour the Lord with their substance especially during harvest season in order to attract God’s blessing. Bishop Onouha gave the charge at the 2014 harvest Thanksgiving Service of the Church recently.
The cleric referred to the story of Cain and Abel in the Bible Book of Genesis 4:4-9 and urged faithful to always show commitment to Gods work.
The man of God pointed out that God does not fail those that  worship Him faithfully. He pointed out that God rewards those who honor him. Bishop Onuoha told the worshippers that God’s word is real and the glory of God will manifest in their lives because of their diligence in serving Him.
The theme of this year’s harvest was “honour the Lord with thy substance”. The cleric said that God honours those who honour him. The man of God prayed for progress, prosperity and growth of the Church and its members. In her speech the wife of the Bishop, Mrs Ngozi Onouha prayed God to meet the members at the point of their need.
The music was supplied by the Church Choir led by Friday Akwandu and Assistant Miss Rossy Onyekachi Onuoha.
