2015: Peterside Names Asita As Running Mate …APC Inaugurates Gov’s Campaign Team

The governorship flagbear of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State Hon. Dakuku Peterside has named the member representing Ahoada West/Ahoada East Federal Constituency, at the National Assembly, Hon. Honourable Okorie Asita as his running-mate for 2015 governorship in the state.
The party also inaugurated its campaign team with the state Commissioner for works Hon. Victor Giadom appointed as Director-General (DG) of the campaign organisation.
Hon. Peterside made the announcement yesterday, shortly before the special Praise/Dedication of his mandate to God at the Obi Wali Conference Centre in Port Harcourt.
Apostle Israel Maluwa who presided over the dedication service assured Hon. Peterside and his running mate of God’s divine favour in the governorship election next year.
He said, no Police, soldiers and militants can stop the hand of God on Hon. Peterside mandate to governor Rivers State come 2015.
“No soldiers, Police, and Militants will stop the divine mandate of Hon. Dakuku Peterside and his running-make Hon. Asita in the forth coming election in 2015. And because Hon. Dakuku is taking from a destiny father, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, he will overcome all challenges of 2015, and perform more better, after winning as governor of Rivers State”, the man of God prophesized.
In his speech, Hon. Peterside said Hon. Asita was picked as running-mate to give his enormous strength in planning and stragegy to ensure Rivers State attained the vision of developments legacy initiated by Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.
He described Asita as one of the most experienced administrators that will contribute his wealth of experience to the development of the State, if voted into power come 2015.
Hon. Peterside promised to rule the State with fear of God, and with humility and love to the people of the state.
He also promised to respect the constitution of the party to ensure that the state is delivered to God for total change and economic emancipation of the people.
Peterside said, he was picked among other more qualified people by God, and expressed optimism that God will triumph over those that trust in their chariots to rule the state.
The full team list for the 2015 governorship campaign indicate that Chief Victor Giadom, the Commissioner for Works is the Director-General of the campaign organisation, Giadom, an Ogoni will bring his robust poltical experience to the campaign. A former State campaign manager for President Goodluck Jonathan campaign Organisation and former LG Council Chairman, Giadom is a versatile politician and easily one of the most experienced political election tacticians in Rivers State.
Chief Allwell Onyesoh will serve as Deputy Director-General. A former Commissioner for Education and Sports, Onyesoh is coming on board the campaign train with enormous strength in planning and strategy. The deputy Director-General, a former party LGA Chairman, also served as campaign manager to Dr. Peter Odili’s governorship election in 1999.
Dr. Dawari George, member House of Representatives has been appointed Secretary and Director of Administration and Finance. A former Commissioner for Energy, George, a scholar and administrator will bring his rich human resource management abilities to the team.
Hon. Lolo Ibieneye is the Chief Campaign Strategist, a former commissioner and former State Administrative Secretary of the PDP, he served as the Director-General of Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi’s Governorship Campaign organisation in 2006/2007. He has been involved in campaign and election strategies since 1982.
Marcus Nle Eji, a former Rivers State House of Assembly member from Eleme and former Commissioner has been named the Chief Political Adviser to the organisation. Eji is a political leader who built one of the most formidable political machineries in Rivers State.
Emma Deeyah is Director, Special Outreach, Deeyah who had served as member, House of Representatives and Rivers State house of Assembly as Deputy Speaker is well known for his political sagacity.
The former law maker and Commissioner has been involved in the planning and execution of all major elections in Rivers State from 1999 to date.
Others are Mrs Ibim Semenitari, Commissioner for Information and award-winning journalist and publisher. She will serve as Director, Communications and spokesperson for the organisation; Emma Chinda, Commissioner for Agriculture is Director, Field Operations/Rally Coordination; Hon. Oji Ngofa, Director, Mobilisation/Voters Coordination and Mr. Udi Odum, Director, Protocal/Adance while Mr. Abiye Amakiri is Director, Policy.
Others are Levi Charles Gogo, Director, Research/Strategy and Surveys; Hon. Chidiebere Okwu-Wolu, Director, new Media/IT; Barrister Ezemonye Ezekiel-Amadi, Director, Election Operations/Special Duties; Mr. Ade Adeogun, Director, Security and barrister Chuma Chinye, Volunteers/Civil Societies.
Also on the list are Chief Nnmadi Okere, Transport and Logistics; Mr. George Feyii, Chairman Fundraising Special Committee; Chief Cyprian Chukwu, Chairman, Special Committee on Legal Matters; Beekee Anyalewechi, Senior Advisor, Media and Sylvester Asoya, Special Assistant, Public Affairs.
