Elephants Coach Praises Team

d’Iviore national team, Herve Renard has commended the team for qualifying for the 2015 African Cup of Nations.
Renard gave the commendation while speaking to newsmen shortly after the last qualification match between the Elephants and the Lions of Cameroon in Abidjan on Thursday.
“ I thank the team for qualifying to play in the African cup of nations championship, I urge our supporters to always stand by the team.
“We have crossed one bridge by qualifying, the next is to ensure good outing at the tournament,’’ he said.
Renard said that the team’s performance in the match with Cameroon that ended goalless was satisfactory.
“It is not every good game that produces good result, getting the entire three points would have been nice, but the goalless draw also gave us what we wanted,’’ he said.
Cote d’Ivoire and Cameroon qualified from their group for the championship.
