APGA Boasts To Win Degema Assembly Seat
The All Progressives
Grand Alliance (APGA), says it will win the Degema Constituency seat in the Rivers State House of Assembly come 2015 general election.
The chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Rivers State, Hon Terry Geofery, disclosed this at the state party secretariat in Port Harcourt, recently, while presenting the expression of interest and nomination form to an aspirant, Sylvanus Eferebo, for the Degema Constituency seat under the platform of APGA.
Geofrey said APGA as a political party has the prospect of real change, boasting that the party would count on its popularity in Degema to coast home electoral victory.
In his remark, the chairman of APGA in Degema Local Government Area, Ovie David Abangwo, said APGA has an unbeatable track record in Degema, which is exemplified by the score cards of councilors elected on the party’s platform. He therefore called on the people of Degema to vote massively for the party in 2015.
Addressing journalists at the party’s secretariat, the aspirant for the Degema Constituency seat, Sylvanus Eferebo, had promised to give the people of Degema effective representation if given the mandate in 2015.
Eferebo, who is a technocrat, also stated that youths empowerment would top his development agenda.
He lamented the absence of robust debates and revolutionary ideas in the process of legislation and advocated that technocrats should be part of legislation to foster an effective and more beneficial sense of political direction that will improve the well being of the people.
