AFCON Qualifier: Uche, 24 Others Make Eagles List

Head Coach Stephen Keshi has invited 25 players to camp for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying matches against Congo and South Africa.
In a statement by the Assistant Director (Communications), Nigeria Football Association (NFA), Ademola Olajire, Spain-based striker Ikechukwu Uche was called up for the first time in nearly two years.
Nasarawa United midfielder Tony Edjomari is also getting his first senior team opportunity, while home-based defender Solomon Kwambe is also making a return.
Aaron Samuel, a scorer in the 3-1 win against Sudan in Abuja on October 15, was also called up, as well as Hope Akpan, Sunday Emmanuel and home-boy Emem Eduok.
Team captain and goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, defenders Godfrey Oboabona and Elderson Echiejile, midfielders Ogenyi Onazi and Mikel Obi, and forwards Ahmed Musa, Emmanuel Emenike and Babatunde Michael were also invited.
The statement said all the players were expected to report at the Bolton White Apartments in Abuja on November 9.
