‘Supper Falcons Will Excel At AWC’
Former Super Eagles Head
Coach Christian Chukwu has expressed confidence that the Super Falcons would excel at the forthcoming Africa Women Championship (AWC) in Namibia.
Chukwu made this known in an interview with the newsmen in Lagos.
The Super Falcons are expected to kick off their campaign against Zambia on tomorrow in Windhoek.
“I don’t have much problem about our Falcons; our Falcons have been doing well and I can assure you that our Falcons will come out clean in that zone and qualify.
“We have a strong team in the female football team; I think they have prepared well.
“And it’s not a new terrain to them and I believe that they will credit themselves very well.“
The Super Falcons, who are in Group A alongside Cote d Ivoire, Namibia, and Zambia, have won the competition eight times since it began in 1991.
