Omuma CTC Members Get Portfolios

(CTC) Chairman of Omuma Local Government Area, Hon Emeka Nwogu, has assigned portfolios to the newly sworn-in CTC members of the council.
Fielding questions from newsmen in his office, Hon Nwogu said Mr Charles Amaefule is the Supervisor for Works, Mr Leo Anyanwu, Health and Sanitation Matters, Mr Justice Nwogu, Security and Social Welfare, Mrs Lucy Ngozi Nweke, Mr Justice Nwekeala, Education and Youth Affairs while  Mr Prince Nwolo will take care of Agriculture and Natural Resources in the local government area.
The Omuma local government boss said the members were assigned portfolios to enable them know the areas of their responsibilities, where they should discharge their services effectively in the local government  area, saying : “We must render service to the people to compensate for the confidence reposed in us.”
He called on the supervisors to co-operate with him in order to move Omuma forward, stressing that the policy of people empowerments is the priority of his administration.
Hon Nwogu reminded the CTC members of the shortness of time required for them to deliver democracy dividends to the people and the need to impress Governor Chibuike Rotimi AmaechI who appointed them to serve,  pointing out that the length of time given somebody to serve does not matter, but that what matters is how well the person has served.
