Former Flying Eagles
coach, John Obuh has expressed optimism that the Super Eagles could win their African Nations Cup qualifying match against Sudan.
Eagles will play an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier away to Sudan tomorrow.
Obuh, the coach of Rangers FC of Enugu, told newsmen in Port Harcourt that with enough motivation and team work, the Eagles would win the match.
“I believe the players and officials know what is at stake.
“I am also happy that the Nigeria Football Association has settled down after the election, so efforts will be geared toward winning the match”, he said.
Obuh said that the Eagles had the potentials to win and urged the team to work extra hard to get the three points at stake.
“I still believe that there is nothing impossible as far as the Super Eagles are concerned because, most times, we always come in from a difficult terrain and then we see ourselves through.
“We want to believe that such will also be our portion this time. But, all of us really have to work together.
“the Football Association, and the technical crew with the players really heave to work together to achieve this feat,” the coach said.
On the NFF election, Obuh called on all stakeholders to support the Amaju Pinnick-led board to move the nation’s football forward.
