Nasarawa United coach Mohammed Babaganaru has maintained that his team will keep up the fight to win a first-ever Nigeria league title.
Nasarawa United closed gap at top of the table after a 3-1 home win over Kaduna United to cut the lead by Babaganaru’s former club, Pillars, to three points.
”We are happy with the victory over Kaduna United, it was a good game for us. We are still on course for our title aspiration and we will not relent,” promised Babaganaru.
”We will keep working hard toward achieving that.”
Babaganaru won the league back-to-back with Kano Pillars in the last two seasons and he is now aiming for his third straight league championship.
Nasarawa faces a difficult road trip when they face El Kanemi in Kano today.
