Goals Race Gathers Steam In Nigeria League
The race for the Goal
King of the Nigeria league has gathered momentum after Bayelsa United striker Peter Ebimobowei scored his 14th goal Sunday.
He is now at par with Enugu Rangers striker Ighodaro Osaguona.
The league’s leading scorer is Gbolahan Salami of Warri Wolves, who has scored 15 goals with eight rounds of matches still to be played.
Ebimobowei headed home a flick by Olufemi Oladapo in the 80th minute to double Bayelsa’s lead at home against Sunshine Stars.
