Chairman of Sup
porters Club of Dolphins Football Club of Port Harcourt, Comrade Franklin Duhor has appealed to Rivers State Government to pay the players the two years sign on fees.
He explained that the failure of the governor  to pay the money on the appropriate time may course the team the continental ticket as the players would not put in their best in the remaining matches.
Comrade Owhor stated this in a telephone interview with Tidesports yesterday in Port Harcourt describing the money as part of motivating factors.
The state government had early this month promised to pay players of Dolphins and Sharks FCs of Port Harcourt, all their outstanding sign-on fee and other monies owed them within two weeks.
It would be recalled that deputy government of the State Engr Tele Ikuru made the promise on behalf of the government when players of both clubs protested to Government House over non-payment  of the sign-on fees. The supporters club boss told Tidesports that the players are not happy over the delayed payment of fees in view of the fact that the season is coming to an end.
I use this opportunity to appeal to the government to pay the players, most especially Dolphins players who are at the Verge of getting a continental ticket Comrade Owhor said.
