A cross section of motorists who barred their minds in an interview with our correspondent in Port Harcourt, Monday, said the assurance was heart warming as the usual grid lock experienced daily on the road would be a thing of the past.

The noted that the project, when completed, would definitely ease movement, and appealed to him to prevail on the contractors to expedite action on the orad.
Mr Theodore Emenike, a private car owner said, “well, if the governor made such statement, I think there is hope that he is going to complete it before December, but I am thinking of the rains that can pose a challenge to the deadline.
Anyway, let us keep our fingers crossed as we wait for its commissioning.
A Keke NAPEP rider, Umaru Usman also noted with delight that when the road is completed, both vehicle drivers and Keke Napep riders in the area plying that axis would be very happy with the present government and called for its early completion.
Victor Chisome, a commuter said with the completion of the road, would surely save people the stress of trekking long distances because of the bad road coupled with hold-ups on both sides of the road.
Chisome reiterated that the completion would ease free flow of traffic and commended the state government for the assurance and appealed to them to ensure its completion and on time.
Mrs Ngozi Chukwurah, a trader said there is going to be business boom when the road is completed and enjoined the government not to relent efforts in giving the Peter Odili – Woji –Akpajo link road a face-lift for the masses to enjoy the dividends of democracy.
Another Keke rider, Akpan Udoh said although work was unnecessarily delayed, but he is optimistic that the contractors would do a better job.
A commercial bus driver, Innocent Offor in his reaction said it is a heartwarming news and that all drivers are waiting for that day as they spend more hours on the road because of the bad.
