Rivers Angels Keep To Schedule For League Cup

Harcourt has declared that it would not relent in its efforts to remain focused and in good form for the 2014 women’s Federation Cup final and it’s remaining league matches, as they wait for the suspension of the league and other matches occasioned by the NFF crises and Nigeria Referees Association, NRA boycott to be lifted.
Assistant coach of the team, Whyte Ogbondah, said that, the club would not lose sight of it target of achieving the double this year by winning the FA cup final and the NWPL title.
According to him, though the strike may delay the league, but, can not prevent the team from winning the double this season, adding that the team has been working hard by maintain its training schedule.
“He don’t know when the situation on ground would be settled, but, he want to make sue that we are ready for the competitions when ever the league resumes”, he said.
Rivers Angels have three outstanding league matches and one game to play this season. Presently, the club is on 39 points from 17 matches played so far. They are leading the league table, followed by Osun Babes with 34 points and Pelican Stars on 32 points, respectively.
