Ugonna Uzochukwu can
now feature for his new South African Premier League side Chippa United after Enugu Rangers finally released his transfer certificate.
Rangers general manager Paul Chibuzor told newsmen that after due consideration Ugonna has been released by the Nigeria Premier League club.
”Our lawyer and their own lawyer (Chippa United) have reached an agreement that convinced us to support Ugonna’s move to South Africa,” Chibuzor disclosed.
”He has served Rangers diligently and there is no need to stifle his heart desires. We wish him well in his future endeavours.”
The financial involvement of the move by the midfielder to Chippa United was however not disclosed.
Ugonna has yet to make his Chippa United debut even after he was granted a work permit as Rangers had not issued an International Transfer Certificate to finalise his switch to South Africa.
