Nembe City woes this
season continued unabated after they abandoned a home game on Sunday in protest over a late penalty awarded Lobi Stars.
Nembe City is rock bottom of the Nigeria league with 24 points from 26 matches.
But their problems were further compounded when they refused to allow Lobi take a stoppage time penalty that would have seen both teams back at par at 2-2.
The league will now decide the outcome of the encounter.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)organising and disciplinary committee has ordered the replay of a Week 17 game between Giwa FC and Nembe City.
The League Management Company(LMC)has now ordered that the match be played on October 1.
Nembe City was walked over by Giwa FC in the game at Rwang Pam Stadium in Jos after they complained of road mishap on their way to honour the match and sent an official to the pre-match meeting to present their case, but the match officials went ahead with the walkover formalities later that day.
