League To Resume, Wed

Football League will now resume last wednesday next week announcemen thatwill
restart this weekend.
The country’s other leagues namely the Nigeria National League (NNL), Nationwide League and the Women’s League will also resume on Wednesday.
The Club Owners secretary Alloy Chukwuemeka told newsmen that,“The Nigeria league will resume next week Wednesday September 17 and not on Sunday.”
Kano Pillars spokesman Idris Malikawa further collaborated, “We are still waiting for a formal notice to the league resumption, but an official of the LMC told me it will now resume on Wednesday.”
The league was suspended a fortnight ago following the withdrawal of referees from the championship
due to a leadership crisis that rocked Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) in recent weeks.
The Nigeria Referees Association (NRA) Wednesday morning informed the NFF and the League Management Company (LMC) of their readiness to officiate matches starting from this weekend.
