IBASCO Celebrates Silver Jubilee Of Excellence With Funfair

Commercial School Old Students Association, Ibaa, (IBASCO) in Emohua local government  area in Rivers State, has co                      ncluded plans to celebrate its silver jubilee of excellence in grand style featuring lectures, cultural display, reward for excellence in service and fun fair.
The National President of the Association, Chief Sunny Chukwumele, who announced this during last month’s meeting of the association said through the association will be celebrating its 25 years of existence in December this year.
It will also be an opportunity to celebrate the establishment of the institution 46 years ago as well as honour those who have excelled in their various professional fields.
The president therefore inaugurated a planning committed to work out the modalities for the historic celebration with a lecturer at the Rivers State University of Education and the Vice President of the Association, Sir H.I. Major as chairman of the planning committee.
Other members include Mrs. Glady Aleru, Madam Nnah Joy, Solomon Igbanibo, Ike Wigodo, Justina Dawari  Elizabeth Ilepunya and Dawari Ogolo.
He said the celebration is expected to parade the who is who  in the education sector of the state, entertainers as well as showcase the cultural heritage of the state amongs   other side attractions.
