Amaechi Debunks ‘Comments’ On Aliyu, Lamido

Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Amaechi has decried the tactless act by desperate politicians, who write and post on the social media, fake stories and concocted statements which have been falsely attributed to him.
A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. David Iyofor, in reaction to a recent topic on Nairaland.com, titled: “How Aliyu and Lamido Deceived Me -Gov Amaechi”, said that “the false story was obviously cooked up by mischievous haters, desperate politicians”, adding that Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi did not make such derogatory comments about his colleague Governors, Aliyu Babangida of Niger State and Sule Lamido of Jigawa State.
“He did not speak to anyone or say the things attributed to him in that fake posting. It is a big lie, baseless and unfounded. And to confirm that it was fabricated, the story had no source,” the statement said.
