Sharks Escape Road Mishap

Odinga has said that his team escaped a road crash by a whisker on their way to Ibadan for a Nigeria League Week 24 match against Crown FC yesterday.
The long-serving skipper said the players were okay contrary to reports that some players were injured as a result of a reported road accident.
”We are very okay here as you can see nothing happen to us,  there was no accident. What happened was that the driver was only trying to avoid hitting a car, so he skidded off the road and we were back on the road almost immediately,” Odinga said
“We even got to Ibadan in good time to visit Shoprite.”
Odinga stressed that no player suffered any bruise.
Odinga added that the team was focused on compounding the woes of their host Crown FC when they meet because they have long put behind them the 1-1 draw with Heartland last Wednesday.
“We are the least bothered about the draw at home against Heartland what is on our mind right now is how to leave Ibadan unscathed against Crown FC,” he said.
Sharks eventually fell 2-0 to their hosts in the game played yesterday.
