Sharks , Dolphins Devour Opponents In League

Sharks FC and
Dolphins FC of Port Harcourt swam in winning waters as both sides recorded home wins over Bayelsa United and Heartland FC respectively in the Week 21 games of the Glo Premier League.
In the game played at the Sharks Stadium, a goal in either half from Abraham Okereke and Salawu Ibrahim gave the hosts a 2-0 victory.
Okereke scored in the 34th minute of the game to give the Blue Angels the lead, before Ibrahim’s goal a minute before the hour mark sealed the win for the hosts who moved up to fifth place on the League table with 33 points from 21 games.
Bayelsa came down a spot to occupy the sixteenth place with 27 points from same number of games.
In Liberation Stadium also in Port Harcourt, a solitary strike from Ifeanyi Egwim in the 21st minute gave Dolphins a 1-0 win over Heartland FC.
Dolphins consequently moved three spots up to fourth place on the League table with 33 points, Heartland dropped a spot to occupy fifteenth place with 27 points.
